RP Philosophy and Rules
RP Experience: I am now in my 40's and have been RPing in one form or another since my early teens so I've been around the block a few times. Been there, done that, know what I like and don't like. Been an officer in a few FC's/Guilds. RP Style and Venue: Equally comfortable with in game RP and Discord RP though I prefer one on one or small group scenes. If the chat log gets too busy I have trouble keeping up, get overwhelmed and will end up just dropping out. I will generally mirror my partner in a scene but left to my own devices I am a multi-paragraph poster.LGBTQ+ Accepting: If you are at all uncomfortable with queerness or queer characters then I am not the RP partner for you. Ilthus refers to himself as a “Freelance Troubleshooter '' but only because “petty thief and sometimes hired thug” doesn’t exactly trip off the tongue, or win you many friends at the bar. There was a time when he was an Upright Thief rather than a petty one but conflicts of interest arose and he’s never been one to fight against the tide. Even his current alias is simply the most common mispronunciation of his given name (which he never bothered to correct anyone on) combined with a bad joke he’s long since given up on explaining. It wasn’t very funny to begin with.His features are soft and would almost be effeminate if not for the jagged scar running across the left side of his face. It cuts from forehead to lip and pulls one corner of his mouth up into a perpetual smirk.He carries himself with practiced indolence, seeming to slouch no matter what pose or posture he's in. A careful observer could see through this however to notice his hands never stray too far from his blades and his eyes and ears are ever alert.

Shameless Flirt: Maybe your character is simply existing in a public space and is in a receptive sort of mood for being hit on by a trash cat. Or not receptive at all. That can be fun too.Wanted Man: Maybe your character is an agent of the law investigating some recent crime or other. Ilthus enjoys a chase from either end.Heart of Pyrite: Maybe your character is a good person fallen on hard times. Our boy is a sucker for a sob story. Be warned that he may have his own ideas about what constitutes "helping."
